Whatnot Rewards Club Enhances Buyer-Seller Interactions

Whatnot has made an exciting announcement – the launch of their new Rewards Club, a unique program designed to elevate the buyer-seller interactions on the platform. The aim is to simplify transactions, track interactions between users, and provide a fun and rewarding experience for all involved.

Rewards Club stands as an achievement-based program that benefits both buyers and sellers. Sellers can seize the opportunity to grow their businesses while the program keeps track of buyer interactions, offering rewards as recognition. The program runs continuously, ensuring easy access and building deeper connections between buyers and sellers, ultimately boosting purchases.

One of the standout features of Rewards Club is its flexibility for sellers. Each seller has the autonomy to customize the loyalty program to align with their community and business objectives, making it a personalized experience for both the sellers and the buyers.

The program is structured around five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Each tier requires a specific set of achievements to unlock, which are determined by the seller. These achievements can range from the number of shows watched, purchases made, to the total amount spent on the platform.

Unlocking different tiers comes with a range of rewards and benefits for members. These rewards can include status badges, coupons (dollar-based, percentage-based, free shipping), and exclusive access to tier-specific shows. Membership is automatic upon achieving set milestones.

To keep things dynamic, the Rewards Club program resets every three months, allowing sellers to refresh and refine their offerings. The seasonal schedule includes Winter (December, January, February), Spring (March, April, May), Summer (June, July, August), and Fall (September, October, November).

The flexibility of the Rewards Club lies in its customizable nature, catering to the diverse needs of different sellers. Sellers can set thresholds for achievements and select rewards that best align with their business strategies, ensuring a tailored experience for their buyers.

Sellers have the power to manage tiers and achievements, setting tasks for buyers to complete in order to unlock different tiers. They can initiate their program at any point during a season and make adjustments at the end of each season to optimize their Rewards Club offerings.

The beta testing phase for Rewards Club is ongoing until August 31, with Season 1 officially commencing on September 1. During beta testing, sellers can make changes to their tiers and cancel their program with the assistance of their Account Manager or Whatnot Support.

For sellers looking to get started, joining the waitlist for early access to edit tiers for the Season 1 launch is the first step towards unlocking the potential of Rewards Club.

To participate in the Rewards Club program, sellers must meet certain requirements, including processing 50 or more non-giveaway orders, earning over $1,000 on Whatnot, having a seller rating of 4.8 or higher, and abiding by the platform’s policies.

Buyers automatically become members of a seller’s Rewards Club upon making a purchase. They can easily manage their coupons and rewards through the Rewards Club overview page. It’s worth noting that purchases made using coupons are considered final.

Achievements in the program are tracked based on the total amount spent, including taxes and shipping fees, with discounts from coupons not factoring into the spending achievements. Members have the option to display or hide their Rewards Badges during live shows, respecting their privacy preferences.

As the Rewards Club continues to roll out, Whatnot stands ready to provide support and assistance to users. For any queries or guidance, the support team is available to ensure a seamless experience for all involved in the program.
