Formula 1 Renews Topps Trading Card Partnership

Formula 1 is all revved up as it secures its bond with fans and collectors through an astute move – the renewal of its exclusive trading card and sticker agreement with Topps, a notable subsidiary of Fanatics. This strategic decision solidifies Topps’ position as the official trading card licensee for the prestigious international racing series, a title it has proudly held since 2020.

In this fresh collaboration, Topps commits to producing trading card and sticker collections that prominently feature drivers from not only the Formula 1 series but also the Formula 2 and Formula 3 series. The deal also encompasses Topps’ involvement in various 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship Grands Prix events, debuting with the much-anticipated Austrian Grand Prix. Enthusiasts attending these events can anticipate snagging exclusive trading cards to add to their prized collections.

Emily Prazer, Formula 1’s Chief Commercial Officer, and Kelvin Smith, the Senior Vice President of Global Licensing and Partner Development at Fanatics Collectibles, marked this renewal with jubilation. Both key figures emphasized the partnership’s pivotal role in captivating a wider audience and bridging the gap between fans and their beloved drivers and teams through exceptional collectibles. With a focus on enriching the fan experience, the agreement aims to introduce special products and unforgettable programs, although the precise duration of the deal remains undisclosed.

This renewal stands as a testament to Formula 1’s unwavering dedication to fostering strong connections with its fan base while also catering to the thriving market of collectors. The continuation of this exclusive partnership demonstrates a commitment to delivering innovative and exciting avenues for fans to engage with the sport beyond the racetrack. As Formula 1 gears up for another thrilling season, the partnership with Topps adds an extra layer of excitement and anticipation for enthusiasts worldwide.
