Topps NCAA March Madness Basketball Card Series

Topps has joined forces with the NCAA to unveil the inaugural March Madness Basketball Card Series, capturing the essence of college basketball through a collection of exclusive cards. Priced at $139.99 per pack, each set comprises eight cards, including a guaranteed autograph card from a selection of standout players. Fans can delve into these packs until Thursday on Topps’ official website, with the chance to land dual autograph cards in one out of every ten packs.

The roster of featured players is packed with talent, showcasing the likes of men’s Player of the Year, Zach Edey from Purdue, and women’s Player of the Year, Caitlin Clark. The lineup includes individuals such as Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham from Kentucky, Tristen Newton and Stephon Castle from UConn, Caitlin Clark from Iowa, Paige Bueckers from UConn, and many more basketball stars who have agreed to grace these limited edition cards.

Each pack is a treasure trove for collectors, containing the coveted autographed card alongside six base cards and a parallel card numbered to 99 or fewer. Noteworthy dual autograph pairings in the series add excitement, with combinations like Clark/Edey, Clark/Reese, Reese/Van Lith, and Sheppard/Dillingham for fans to discover.

However, the opportunity to feature Caitlin Clark in Topps’ card series will soon draw to a close on April 1, as she gears up for an exclusive trading card deal with Panini America. The collaboration between Topps and the NCAA sees the incorporation of the iconic March Madness logo into the series, hinting at potential future joint endeavors that fans can anticipate.

The Bowman U NOW March Madness series celebrates the essence of college basketball, with over 120 cards released throughout the season on the Topps NOW platform. These cards have showcased a plethora of college basketball talents, with Caitlin Clark standing out as the most featured athlete on 13 different cards—a testament to her impact on the game. Additionally, college players have been a consistent feature in the traditional Topps Bowman University line for the past two years, elevating the collector’s experience with the dynamism of collegiate sports.

As the NCAA basketball season reaches its pinnacle, the collaboration between Topps and NCAA in the March Madness Basketball Card Series offers fans a unique opportunity to own a piece of college basketball history. With exclusive autograph cards, limited edition parallels, and a roster of top athletes, this series is a must-have for both avid collectors and basketball enthusiasts alike.
